A late summer sunset on Cayuga Lake. Visible in the distance, a now defunct coal fired power plant was a source of mercury pollution to Cayuga and other Finger Lakes for decades.

RESEARCH FOCUS

POLLUTION OF THE NATURAL WORLD

Welcome to the Razavi Environmental Toxicology Lab at SUNY ESF.

Our lab conducts research, teaching, and outreach on toxins and toxicants in the natural world. We approach this primarily from the lens of limnology, so work primarily in freshwaters, but we also collaborate with terrestrial and marine scientists.

Do not hesitate to contact PI Razavi or one of our lab members if you have questions about our work!
