Congratulations to Joseph for his paper acceptance in Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology. Our work "Mercury exposure in two fish trophic guilds from protected and ASGM-impacted reservoirs in Zimbabwe and possible risks to human health" with co-authors Dr. Trevor Dube (Midlands State University, Zimbabwe) and Dr. Don Stewart (SUNY ESF) provides some of the first mercury data for Zimbabwean fishes in a region impacted by artisanal and small scale gold mining (ASGM), an important source of mercury affecting the tropics and the globe.
